MALBA and floralis

today i went to MALBA- fundacion constantini- museo de arte latinoamericano de buenos aires. the collection consists of a selection of more than two hundred works, including drawings, paintings, sculptures and objects by 78 artists from argentina, brazil, colombia, costa rica, cuba, chile, ecuador, mexico, uruguay and venezuela.

it was pretty great- they had a lot of modern and contemporary art- my favorite! couldn't take pictures inside but here are some artists to take a look at- jorge de la vega, liliana porter, luis fernando benedit, and antonio berni.

right before, as i was walking to the museum- in the recoleta disctrict- i passed a sculpture park where i found the sculpture "floralis generica" by argentinian architect eduardo catalano. it is programed to open in the mornings and close at night.

ps. check out the san telmo street art and grafitti slideshow.
